Description: Ground Operations Officer Foundation course will create the bridge between ground operations and flight operations. It will widen the knowledge and understanding of processes, documents and needs of an aircraft operator and explain many behind-the-scene elements not often visible or known to ground operations personnel on the airport.
This includes but is not limited to computerised flight plans, meteo and NOTAM documentation, ATC, airport slots, flight scheduling from airline perspective, crew duty and rest time, airline emergency procedures and more.
Who should attend: Course is designed for airport, handling and FBO personnel involved in aircraft/airline operations. Ramp and airport operations staff, supervisors and station managers will greatly benefit from this course.
