Alpha One – First Class Ground Operations Training in Malta

Malta booming aviation sector and traditional education and learning legacy of the island brought promising new venture on the aviation training market – Alpha One.

Alpha One, formed by 3 partner companies (BizAv, Quaero and Meridian8), is focused on high-end ground operations training and is offering attractive courses based on latest regulatory standards and innovative teaching techniques.

Courses offered by Alpha One in 2014/2015 are:

• Aviation Foundation Training (5 days, 40 hours)
• Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher Course (6 weeks, 240 hours)
• Advanced Flight Dispatch Techniques (5 days, 40 hours)
• Flight Dispatch Recurrent Training (3 days, 24 hours)
• Flight Dispatch For Station Personnel (3 days, 24 hours)

In addition to full time, classroom courses, Aviation Foundation and Flight Operations Officer training are also offered as evening classes with intention to boost the interest of the local population and students for positions within the Malta growing aviation industry. Flight Operations Officer Course is also available on distance learning basis for experienced aviation personnel.

Courses conform with ICAO and EASA regulations defining requirements for operations personnel training.

First course will be held in September 2014.
